Crack Cover (Scrim 30g) Alkali Resistant 100mm x 20M Roll
Crack Cover is a fine, tissue thin, high
tensile strength polypropylene gauze that is
able to bridge a crack and spread the point
stress of the crack over a broader area
effectively allowing movement, while
at the same time disguising the crack.
Crack Cover is applied over all fine surface
and fine structural cracks with a high quality
coating that can also allow for movement.
Its best not to fill the crack, but to rather
bridge the crack with thw crack cover
allowing for movement.
Apply with our SATINTEX because of its film
building properties (holds form) and flexibility
and when used with a roller, will blend the
Crack Cover into the surface.
Either our ELEGANCE SILK or
ELEGANCE MATT are perfect finishing coats
to use over the blended Crack Cover because
of their 200% flexibility.
Crack Cover is effectively used in conjunction
with our ACRYLATEX (Cement modifier)
in a ratio of 1:2 with cement powder to
waterproof showers as it is alkali resistant.
