This is the COLOURANT required to ADD to 1lt of
the required BASE for this colour. The BASE is
in the DESCRIPTION of the chosen colour.
The same COLOURANT can be added to either
Acrylic base products or Oil base products
(like enamels)
There are 4 different bases to make all colours.
1 – WHITE BASE – this is the lightest and whitest
of all bases.
2 – PASTEL BASE – this is slightly darker than the
white base, as it has less white in it.
3 – DEEP BASE – this is again slightly darker than
the pastel base, having less white.
4 – CLEAR BASE – this has no white in it and is
used to make dark colours.
* The DEEP and CLEAR BASES use far more
colourant than the white and pastel bases, yet
are slightly cheaper to manufacture. This is seen
in the pricing.
* BASES are not sold seperate to a colourant
(Tint) nor the colourant seperate to the bases.
